2,300 jobs lost as UK DIY giant in administration with £803m debts

Homebase’s administration has left about 2,300 redundancy claims and 1,299 unsecured creditors facing heavy losses on £693 million of claims, after Teneo sold 70 stores and the brand to CDS for £25.6 million, while secured lender Wells Fargo was repaid in full and Ark Finco recovered £57.5 million against an £80 million secured debt.
