79th Group operators declared bankrupt in latest development

Three individuals linked to The 79th Group have been declared bankrupt after appearing in Liverpool County Court, as a City of London Police fraud investigation continues into allegations that the group, which attracted about £200 million from investors, operated as a Ponzi scheme and led to around 20 related companies entering administration.
