Activewear Group enters administration after secured financing

Activewear Group Ltd, a West Midlands supplier of sportswear, workwear and uniforms, has entered administration after granting new security over its assets and receivables during the months preceding the appointment.

Stuart Kelly and Claire Harsley of Mackay Goodwin were appointed joint administrators on 8 July 2026 through the High Court’s Business and Property Courts in Birmingham. The company traded from a warehouse and showroom in Halesowen and was formally classified as a wholesaler of clothing and footwear.

Activewear Group sold clothing for adults and children through its website and also supplied workwear, school uniforms and sports clothing. Its services included personalised printing and embroidery for businesses, clubs, schools and other organisations. The company’s website remained active following the appointment and was advertising discounts of as much as 75%, although parts of the site were unavailable.
