Administrators chase project bank account funds to pay fees

ESS Modular’s administrators have applied to the Northern Irish court for permission to recover up to £154,000 of fees from £1.3m held in a Ministry of Justice project bank account, raising a significant trust and insolvency issue over whether ringfenced PBA funds intended for subcontractors can be used to meet administration costs.
