Airship Interactive Ltd - Administration

Airship Interactive Ltd, a Cheshire-based games studio, has been rescued out of administration by its founder, Joe Harford.

The company, which provides art services to the likes of Disney, Microsoft, and Sony PlayStation Studios, among others, said it was impacted by wider industry challenges, leading to the appointment of Mike Dillon and Anthony Milnes of Leonard Curtis as joint administrators on 1 July.

Following the appointment, a pre-pack sale was completed to a newly formed entity called Airmergent which was funded by existing management. All employees will transfer to Airmergent.

Npif Nw Debt LP and Npif Ii - Debt Nw LP have registered charges against the company.
