Altegra Companies Rescued in Pre-Pack Sale Following Administrators' Appointment

Burton-on-Trent group companies offloaded following wider Dunstall Holdings collapse

On September 15, 2025, Tim Higgins, Edward Williams and Jane Steer of PwC were appointed joint administrators of Altegra Integrated Solutions Limited and Altegra Access & Security Systems Limited, subsidiaries of Dunstall Holdings Limited, which itself entered administration on 10 September 2025.

Headquartered in Burton-on-Trent and operating from Lopen Head Business Park in Somerset, the Altegra businesses specialised in materials handling equipment and access control systems. Both struggled under prolonged trading pressures and rising inflationary costs, mirroring the financial strain across the wider Dunstall group.

Immediately upon appointment, the administrators executed pre-pack sales. The business of Altegra Integrated Solutions was transferred to Jofson North Limited, while Dorwingear Limited acquired the access and security arm. Together, the transactions secured the jobs of 88 employees at the Lopen Head site, though four roles located elsewhere were made redundant on appointment. PwC confirmed those affected will be supported through the redundancy process.

The swift disposals stabilise operations at the Somerset hub and preserve continuity for customers.
