Alucraft Systems - Administration
Alucraft Systems, a Wilnecote-based aluminum manufacturer, entered administration on 18 March, citing recent problematic contracts which have resulted in claims and offsets against projects, impacting cash flow and the profitability of the business.
Helen Wheeler-Jones, Edward Williams and Peter Dickens of PwC were appointed as joint administrators, and will now focus on the closure of the company’s operations, including sites at Tamworth and Rotherham, and recovering assets for the benefit of creditors.
The company’s 38 employees have been made redundant, and its existing projects will not be completed.
Elaghmore GP and The Bank of Ireland have several charges against the company.
