Alufold Direct Limited - Administration

Alufold Direct Limited, a Blackburn-based door and window manufacturer, entered administration on 10 June, with Philip Armstrong and Mark Hodgett of FRP Advisory appointed as joint administrators.

The company was already struggling financially when a prospective sale fell through and efforts to secure alternative funding proved unsuccessful. Unfortunately, the majority of the company’s 100 employees have been made redundant, with a small number retained to assist the administrators, who are currently seeking a buyer for the business and assets.

OakNorth Bank has a registered charge against the company.
