AMTE Power 'in talks' with potential buyer

Thurso-based electric battery manufacturer AMTE Power is in talks with a potential buyer after announcing its intention to appoint administrators on 19 December, saying that the accelerated sale process has elicited interest in the business and assets which has caused the board to file a second notice of intention to give the company more time – until 19 January – to secure a rescue deal.
