Ancient House Press - Liquidation
Ancient House Press, an Ipswich printing company which started printing in 1845 in the Ancient House in the Buttermarket area, was placed into liquidation on 14 January.
The 180-year-old business is said to have suffered from a steady decline in sales, leading to the appointment of Lee De'ath and Tom Gardiner of Begbies Traynor as liquidators.
All 160 staff have reportedly been dismissed.
Allison Berry / Micheal Underdown and Hitachi Capital (UK) have registered charges against the company.
