Architectural Aluminium Ltd – liquidation

Architectural Aluminium Ltd, a large Dublin-based construction firm, was placed in provisional liquidation on 16 December, after a petition was brought by the firm’s directors in order to safeguard its assets and materials on various sites in Dublin, Kilkenny and Carlow. John McStay and Tom Rogers of McStay Luby were appointed provisional liquidators. The directors reportedly resolved to wind down the firm, which has been trading at a loss for over a decade, at a meeting on 14 December. The full hearing of the petition will take place next month.
