ARJ Construction Property Limited - Administration

ARJ Construction Property Limited, a Stevenage-based contractor, entered administration on 3 May.

The company had a wide portfolio of active projects, including the Paradise Depot 56-home affordable housing scheme for Dacorum Borough Council in Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire.

Despite a recent surge in revenues, the company’s cost of sales has almost doubled due to increasing inflation and labour challenges across the sector. 

Simon Carvill-Biggs and Sarah Cook of FRP Advisory were appointed joint administrators.

It is not yet known what will become of the firm’s approximately 136 staff.
