Armstrong Teasdale Ltd - Administration

Armstrong Teasdale Ltd, the UK arm of US headquartered law firm Armstrong Teasdale LLP, entered administration on 4 October. 

Armstrong Teasdale LLP only recently opened the London-based firm in 2021 after acquiring Kerman Legal Services Limited.

Sean Bucknall, Andrew Hosking and Carl Jackson of Quantuma were appointed joint administrators and said that “a series of well-documented senior team departures” had “severely compromised the UK firm’s ability to trade profitably”.

Most the 57 employees have reportedly found new employment with other firms, while remaining staff have been made redundant, other than a couple of staff members who have been retained to assist the joint administrators.

Samantha Palmer of Child & Child advised the joint administrators and has subsequently been appointed as client protective Solicitor Manager.

Aib Group (UK) PLC has a couple of registered charges against the company.
