Article X does not (quite) mark the spot: UK Government considers implementation of two UNCITRAL Model Laws on Insolvency

Paul Keddie of Macfarlanes shares that, following a year-long consultation, the UK Government intends to legislate to implement the Model Law on Enterprise Group Insolvency “at the earliest opportunity”, but that it will not implement the Model Law on Recognition and Enforcement of Insolvency-Related Judgments due to concerns that it may undermine the rule in Gibbs.
