Aspire buys NVT Group in pre-pack administration, saving 49 jobs

A Bellshill-based managed IT services provider has been sold through a pre-pack administration to Aspire Technology Solutions, preserving all 49 jobs and maintaining service for customers.

NVT Group Limited entered administration after financial strain linked to an unrecovered major contract and wider cost pressures, according to a statement issued following the transaction. Joint administrators Michelle Elliot and Chad Griffin of FRP Advisory were appointed on 20 March 2026.

The sale completed shortly after the administrators’ appointment, with the business transferring to Aspire on 22 March 2026. The accelerated process was designed to preserve enterprise value and avoid disruption to customers and staff.

Founded in 1988, NVT supplied managed IT services and consultancy to more than 90 organisations across the UK. Its services included technology integration, cloud solutions, cyber security, data backup, and communications systems.

All employees moved to Aspire under TUPE arrangements, with Chief Executive Chris Fraser saying the acquisition would strengthen Aspire’s position in Scotland.
