Barclay family pursued offshore in battle with creditors

Deutsche Bank Luxembourg has launched a new High Court claim against Alistair Barclay, naming his Guernsey trustee and a British Virgin Islands vehicle as co-defendants, as part of a widening creditor push to pierce offshore trusts and companies linked to the Barclay family amid parallel bankruptcy proceedings and long-running fallout from the collapse of the family’s debt-laden empire.
