Black Country Innovative Manufacturing Organisation - Administration

Black Country Innovative Manufacturing Organisation (BCIMO), which operated rail research and development facilities in Dudley, entered administration on 1 July, with Deviesh Raikundalia and Tyrone Courtman of RSM UK appointed as joint administrators.

The facilities were developed at cost of over £30 million and include a railway test track, offices, engineering laboratories, and meeting and event spaces.

BCIMO said that its downfall was caused by its failure to secure core funding.

Dudley Metropolitan Borough Council has a registered charge against the company.
