Boardlink - Administration

Boardlink, a family-owned manufacturing business that made products including paper plates, ready meal trays and industrial-grade wipes, entered administration on 4 April, with Rick Harrison and James Clark of Interpath appointed joint administrators.

The company operated from Flintshire and employed approximately 65 people. Unfortunately, a key supplier to the business unexpectedly terminated its long-standing contract with the company, leaving the directors unable to find a replacement supplier in time to avoid an administration. Approximately 50 of those jobs have been lost.

RBS Invoice Finance and National Westminster Bank have registered charges against the company.
