C G Godfrey - Voluntary Administration
C G Godfrey, a 50-year-old Lincolnshire-headquartered construction company, entered voluntary administration on 27 August.
The company provided vacuum sewerage and deep drainage services to customers including individuals, water companies, local authorities and district and county councils.
The company faced cash flow difficulties after recording a £300,000 loss of income on two contracts. A team from Quantuma was engaged to provide advice and undertake a marketing process in July 2024, but no offers were received.
Duncan Beat and Andrew Watling of Quantuma were appointed joint administrators.
All 23 employees have been made redundant.
Lloyds Bank, Clifford Godfrey and Susan Barsley have registered charges against the company.
