Cambium Networks Limited enters administration

Cambium Networks Limited, the UK subsidiary of wireless networking equipment group Cambium Networks Corporation, entered administration on 14 September, with David Shambrook, Gordon Thomson, James Woodhead and Joe Barry of RSM UK Restructuring Advisory appointed joint administrators.

The US parent disclosed in an SEC filing that the administrators will seek to sell the company's assets, including some or all of its business lines, while the remaining entities in the Cambium Networks group are expected to be wound up through locally administered processes.

The filing also revealed that Cambium cut 260 employees globally, representing 53.6% of its workforce, three days before the administration appointment.
