Cartwright Bros (Haulage) - Administration

Cartwright Bros (Haulage), a North Hykeham-based haulage firm, entered administration on 20 June.

The family-run company has been in business for 80 years, but ran into difficulties due to rising diesel prices, a difficult economy, constraints caused by the pandemic, long waits for replacement parts and driver shortages, among other factors.

Elizabeth Welch and Matthew Ingram of Kroll were appointed as joint administrators.

More than 100 jobs have been lost.

Igf Business Credit has a registered charge against the company.
