Castle Water vows to create 2,000 jobs at Thames Water in fresh bid approach

Castle Water has resurfaced with an enhanced bid for Thames Water, making an alternative offer which it says is at least £1 billion more than the current creditor-backed proposal and pledging up to 2,000 new jobs as the struggling utility continues advanced funding talks aimed at avoiding nationalisation.
