CC & RJ Emerson - Administration

CC & RJ Emerson, a Leicestershire-based trucking company with a 100-year history, entered administration on 4 April.

The family-run company, which specialises in waste and recycling transportation, operated a fleet including 35 tractor units, five rigid 8-wheelers, and 40 trailers.

It closed prior to the appointment of Miles Needham and John Lowe of FRP Advisory as joint administrators. All of the circa 50 employees have been made redundant.

Bibby Financial Services, Nationwide Finance and United Trust Bank have registered charges against the company.
