Connect Modular Limited and Hope South West Limited - Administration

Connect Modular Limited and Hope South West Limited, Cumnock, Scotland-based companies which were part of the Wee House Group, a leading provider of modular homes, entered administration on 6 January.

Michelle Elliot and Callum Carmichael of FRP Advisory were appointed joint administrators.

The companies have suffered significant financial challenges in recent months due to rising operational costs and losses made on previous contracts, which has placed significant pressure on trading operations and cash flow.

Both companies have ceased trading, and 48 employees (38 from Connect Modular and 10 from Hope South West) have been made redundant. 

Ian Hope (the companies’ founder) and Ann Hope have registered charges against Connect Modular, while Santander, Clydesdale Bank and The Royal Bank of Scotland have registered charges against Hope South West.
