Corporate Insolvency and Governance Act 2020 – Final Evaluation Report November 2022

The UK Insolvency Service has published its final report on the operation of the permanent measures within the Corporate Insolvency and Governance Act 2020 (CIGA), noting that the restructuring plan and the termination of ipso facto clauses have achieved their policy objectives, while the industry has expressed ambiguity around the moratorium and the effectiveness of s 233B.
