Cox + Cox Mail Order Limited, a Frome-based online homewares retailer, entered administration on 27 February. The business saw its profits surge during the pandemic, but experienced a decline in sales and demand following the lifting of restrictions. Joint Administrators Ian Defty and Bai Cham of Begbies Traynor completed a pre-pack sale to Birmingham furniture manufacturer Giomani Designs Ltd, saving 65 jobs. Barclays Bank PLC has a registered charge against the company.
