The Crab Company (Scotland) Limited - Administration
The Crab Company (Scotland) Limited, a premium shellfish processor based at the Peterhead port in Aberdeenshire, entered administration on 19 October after facing cashflow problems due to competition in the crab market, rising costs and a marked decline in sales and income. Graham Smith and Michelle Elliot of FRP were appointed joint administrators, and are currently seeking a buyer for the company. Clydesdale Bank has a registered charge against the company.
