Debt arising under unrecognised foreign judgment sufficient to found English bankruptcy proceedings

Tim Carter and Louise Corcoran of Stevens & Bolton share that the High Court has confirmed that an unrecognised foreign judgment can be used to form the basis of a bankruptcy petition, and consider whether the same reasoning would apply in relation to a winding up petition.
