DeTrafford City Gardens Ltd – administration

DeTrafford City Gardens Ltd, the company behind the completed 174-apartment City Gardens in Manchester, entered administration on 3 October, making it the third DeTrafford Group company to do so in the last six weeks. The company reportedly encountered financial difficulties because some buyers were unable to complete their purchases, and new buyers could not be found in time. 144 of the 174 apartments are said to have been sold, with 30 remaining. Lee Causer and Kerry Bailey of BDO were appointed as Joint Administrators. Each of CBRE Loan Services Limited and Maslow 2 Limited has a registered charge against the company.
