Eastern Atlantic Helicopters Ltd – administration

Eastern Atlantic Helicopters Ltd, a West Sussex based company specialising in the sale of new and pre-owned helicopters, entered administration in mid-September. According to its website, the company has won multiple awards for supplying more new Enstrom and MD helicopters per year than any other distributor. Founded in 1994 by Simon Oliphant-Hope, the company’s sole shareholder, Eastern Atlantic Helicopters has since built a 30,000 square foot facility and expanded by starting an engineering company to support the UK sales. Andrew Andronikou and Michael Kiely of Quantuma were appointed joint administrators. Each of Close Brothers Limited and Lloyds Bank PLC has a registered charge against the company.
