ELEV8 Access Platforms - Administration
ELEV8 Access Platforms, a Sheffield-based provider of platform lifting equipment to customers across the UK and Europe, entered administration on 5 December.
The company reportedly suffered from challenging operating conditions which resulted in cash flow difficulties and an inability to operate as a going concern.
HMRC previously issued a winding up petition on 14 November, but John Lowe and Yasmin Bhikha of FRP Advisory were appointed joint administrators in early December. 84 employees have been made redundant.
Secured creditor Bibby Financial Services is represented by Bermans.
Liberty Leasing and HSBC Bank also have registered charges against the company.
