'Excellent' 125-year-old Nottinghamshire golf club with 'beautiful' course saved
A golf club that dates back to 1901 has managed to avoid insolvency, with its assets sold to Stellar Asset Management, the owner of several golf clubs and leisure resorts. The sale, which was led by Bob Maxwell and Robert Dymond of Begbies Traynor, has saved 20 jobs and will even deliver a significant dividend to the golf club’s 400-plus members.
