Flybe payout hopes dashed for people owed £300m

The collapse of the “new Flybe” in January this year means the last hopes of reclaiming any cash for unsecured creditors of the original company have been dashed. Administrators of the oldco had previously considered pursuing the newco for the transfer of certain assets, but it has emerged that the newco doesn’t have enough property to give anything to unsecured creditors.
