G.E. Starr - Administration
G.E. Starr, a Wolverhampton-based engineering company, has been sold out of administration via a pre-pack deal, saving 25 jobs.
The company, which specialises in metal forming, laser work, assemblies, toolmaking, and prototype projects for clients including well-known automotive brands, entered voluntary administration on 8 May. Craig Povey and Gareth Prince of Begbies Traynor were appointed joint administrators.
Mike Ellis of DSW Principal Partners led a team of professionals working on behalf of G.E. Starr's management to explore options for the business while liaising with the administrators at Begbies Traynor.
4SYTE and Judith & Kerry Starr have registered charges against the company.
