Go Plant Limited - Administration

Go Plant Limited, a Leicestershire-based supplier of specialist plant and vehicle hire to local authorities and the private sector, entered administration on 3 May.

The company was impacted by challenging market conditions, including cost pressures and a subdued UK house building market.

Michael Denny and Jonathan Marston of Alvarez & Marsal were appointed joint administrators and subsequently completed the sale of several depots to Berkshire-based Sweeptech Environmental Services, securing 116 jobs. Certain remaining sites have been closed and related employees made redundant.

Lloyds Bank, Secure Trust Bank, Close Leasing, Lombard North Central, United Trust Bank, Endless LLP and Andrew Cope have registered charges against the company.
