Haddon & James Limited – administration

Haddon & James Limited, an online auction company, entered administration on 12 September. The company appeared to be experiencing difficulties after customers who had purchased furniture and other items on the site claimed that they had paid for items but never received them. Emails from the company surfaced explaining that items that were sold were not necessarily in stock, and that the company had been hit hard with one of its suppliers not being able to deliver the furniture the company ordered. Sarah Cook and Simon Carvill-Biggs of FRP were appointed joint administrators. Clydesdale Bank PLC has a registered charge against the company.
