Heat Recruitment Limited, a recruitment consultancy with offices in Bristol and Manchester, entered administration on 10 November after struggling through the COVID-19 pandemic and amassing significant debts, including approximately £900,000 owing to HMRC. Immediately on the appointment of Conrad Beighton and David Griffiths of Leonard Curtis as joint administrators, the business was acquired by Welsh recruitment group Smart Solutions Group in a pre-pack deal worth £125,000. 51 jobs have been saved, and secured creditor Ultimate Finance has been repaid in full from book debt collections.
