HMRC weighs vote against Gupta's UK steel restructuring

HMRC is considering opposing Sanjeev Gupta's plans to compromise creditors of his Speciality Steel UK arm, which employs 1,500 people in Britain. The convening hearing for the restructuring plan had been due to take place last week, but has been rescheduled for later this month to allow more time for negotiations with creditors, including HMRC.
