Home Delivery Solutions - Administration

Home Delivery Solutions, a Chesterfield-based haulier which provided two-man delivery services across the UK, has entered administration after the preferred bidder for the company withdrew its interest.

After facing issues related to cash flow and growing legacy debts, the company sought advice from Begbies Traynor and it was determined that an accelerated sale should be undertaken.

Multiple offers were received and a preferred bidder was identified, but ultimately backed out after some of the company’s biggest customers sought alternative suppliers.

Mark Malone and Gareth Prince of Begbies Traynor were appointed joint administrators and are now working to secure and realise the company’s assets and deal with employee claims.

Various HSBC entities have registered charges against the company.
