Hospital Pipeline Installations - Administration

Hospital Pipeline Installations, a Paisley-based medicinal gas pipeline installation and servicing specialist, entered administration on 9 May, with Blair Milne and James Fennessey of Azets appointed as joint administrators.

The company was founded in 1984 and grew to be a leader in the area, with clients across a number of sectors, including several NHS health boards.

The company said the decision to appoint administrators was driven by a downturn in trade, increased operating costs and unprofitable contracts. 22 of the 25 employees have been made redundant.

Clydesdale Bank has a registered charge against the company.
