In Practice Systems - Administration

In Practice Systems, the main software supplier for general practitioners (GP) in Scotland, entered administration on 10 December due to financial difficulties.

Steven Edwards, Mark Holborow and Vince Green of Crowe UK were appointed joint administrators.

Scotland was reportedly in the process of migrating all of its GP clinical systems to the Vision software provided by the company at the time the company went into administration. The Scottish government instructed National Services Scotland (NSS) to, among other things, urgently consider immediate steps to be taken regarding support required for current users of Vision.

John Donaghy has a registered charge against the company.

The company was assisted by Cripps.
