‘Insolvency avoidance scheme’ still running despite crackdown

A group called Atherton is continuing to run a scheme marketed as a “legal alternative to using insolvency practitioners” that has helped the directors of more than 1,000 struggling companies drop debts worth tens of millions of pounds despite government attempts to shut it down.
