Insolvency Practitioners Association Announces Winners of IPA Awards

The Insolvency Practitioners Association hosted its Awards Reception on 5 December 2022, attended by many from the insolvency profession and hosted by IPA President Samantha Keen, EY Global Legal Entity Rationalisation Leader and EY UK&I Strategy and Transactions COO.

Nominations were open to everyone working in the insolvency sector. The judges noted the very high standard of nominations received, reflecting some excellent work taking place in the profession this year. The panel commented that selecting winners was not easy! 2022’s winners announced on the night were as follows:

Insolvency Professional of the Year (SME): Allister Manson is a Partner at Opus Business Advisory Group

Insolvency Professional of the Year (Large Firm): Louise Brittain is Head of Contentious Insolvency at Azets

Rising Star of the Year: Arabella Ranby-Gorwood is a Case Manager at CRG Insolvency and Financial Recovery

Innovation in Practise: David McAlinden is a Director at MKB Law

Diversity and Inclusion Champion: Francesca Tackie is a Director at Mercury Corporate Recovery Solutions

Outstanding Contribution to the Profession: Frances Coulson is Head of Insolvency and Restructuring at Wedlake BellAs Frances was unable to attend on the evening, her award was collected by her colleague Robert Paterson, Partner at Wedlake Bell.
