Inverness Caledonian Thistle - Case Update
Following the announcement that Inverness Caledonian Thistle Football Club entered administration earlier this month, a number of changes have been made to the club’s management and squad.
James Stephen, Malcolm Cohen and Shane Crooks of BDO were appointed as joint administrators of the club on 22 October, confirming their intention to seek to secure the long term future of the club.
On 23 October, the club announced that Manager Duncan Ferguson, Assistant Manager Gary Bollan and Goalkeeping Coach Stuart Garden had left the club with immediate effect following the ongoing review of the financial position with the joint administrators. This was followed by an announcement on 24 October, when the club confirmed that players Adam Brooks, Cameron Ferguson, Flynn Duffy, Wallace Duffy and Jack Newman had also left the club. Various other internal moves have been made.
The joint administrators stated that they had to ensure the appropriate balance between cutting costs and staying competitive in making the cuts. They have also revealed that interest has been received from three potential buyers.
