Italk Affiliate Telecommunications Ltd enters administration

Italk Affiliate Telecommunications Ltd, a Brighton & Hove-based broadband provider serving approximately 14,000 customers across the UK, entered administration on 28 August, with Andy Pear and Richard Keley of Moorfields Advisory appointed joint administrators.

Companies House filings show that the company had already entered a CVA in October 2024, while its latest accounts reported turnover of £13.8 million for the year to 31 March 2024 and a pre-tax loss of £1.4 million, compared with an £846,000 loss the previous year.

Moorfields said the UK telecommunications market continues to evolve rapidly, with changing customer expectations, increased competition and ongoing investment requirements creating both opportunities and challenges for providers.

The business continues to trade while the administrators assess its financial position, with Hilco appointed to assist with a sale of the business and assets and discussions underway with a number of interested parties.
