Jellyfish Pictures - Administration

Jellyfish Pictures, a London-based animation and VFX studio, entered administration on 18 March.
The company has worked with high-profile clients such as Disney, Netflix, HBO and the BBC, but has reportedly struggled through the challenging trading conditions facing the visual arts and creative industries in recent years, including high cost inflation and the impact of the writers and actors’ strikes.
A solvent solution was not able to be found, and Howard Smith and Michael Pink of Interpath were appointed joint administrators. Shortly before their appointment, the company ceased operations and the majority of its 69 employees were made redundant.
The joint administrators are now seeking a purchaser for the company’s assets, which predominantly consist of computer and audio visual equipment.
