JLR reshapes business with up to 300 roles at risk

Carmaker JLR (formerly Jaguar Land Rover), which employs approximately 30,000 people across its UK operations, is putting up to 300 salaried and management roles at risk as part of a wider restructuring and £1.7 billion cost-reduction programme, after annual revenue fell 20.9% and adjusted pre-tax profit collapsed to £14 million amid US tariffs, weaker Chinese demand and disruption from its Jaguar transition.
