Jobs saved after administrators sell Welsh border firm to North Wales company

Lindsey Cooper and Chris Ratten of RSM, joint administrators for Hawkrent Limited, which rents and leases plant machinery and site cabins to the construction industry across the UK, have secured a pre-pack deal for the company’s business and assets to Flintshire-based Thomas Holdings (North West) Limited, the parent firm of Thomas Plant Hire. The business will continue to operate at its site in Shropshire, and the jobs of all 22 employees have been secured.
