Le Chardon d’Or Limited - Administration

Le Chardon d’Or Limited, which operates the Brian Maule at Chardon d’Or fine dining restaurant in Glasgow, entered administration on 27 July 2023. Like many other hospitality businesses, Chardon d’Or was impacted by soaring food and energy costs, the suspension of business rates relief, declining city centre footfall and the cost-of-living crisis. Blair Nimmo and Alistair McAlinden of Interpath Advisory were appointed Joint Administrators, and have made all 21 employees redundant. The Bank of Scotland has several registered charges against the company.
