Leonard Curtis appoints real estate expert to London insolvency team

Leonard Curtis has added an experienced real estate expert to its London office - diversifying its growing talent pool with another high-calibre hire in 2023.

The firm’s newest senior recruit Nick Myers joins Leonard Curtis London as a Director - bringing almost two decades’ of real estate restructuring and insolvency experience.

Nick qualified as a licensed insolvency practitioner in 2010 and has spent 19 years in corporate restructuring and insolvency, recovering in excess of £100 million of real estate for various stakeholders in the last year alone.

Nick has worked on multiple high-profile property cases involving sports personalities, shopping centres, student accommodation, development sites and licensed premises - and is perfectly placed to grow Leonard Curtis’ real estate offering to a wider market.

Nick currently holds office as the Insolvency Practitioners Association’s Chief Examiner and is a member of R3, as well as an Associate Member of The Association of Short Term Lenders.

Speaking about his appointment, Nick stated: “I am incredibly excited to join Leonard Curtis and have the opportunity to establish the brand in more areas of real estate.

“I will provide focus and expertise within the real estate sector, acting for various stakeholders.

“We are in a very strong position now to support businesses in all sectors, right across London and beyond.”

Alex Cadwallader, Head of South and Offshore at Leonard Curtis, said: “All of us at Leonard Curtis are delighted that Nick has decided to join us.

“He is a well-respected restructuring professional with real expertise in the property sector which we believe will prove invaluable as we continue with our growth plans in London and across the group.”
